Yes, it really works. But the foam is too much. I'm used to non-sudsing cleansers and would prefer it too. Foam removal requires the same work as the cleaning process and leaves the fabric stiff if not rinsed and removed. My homemade carpet cleaner worked fine until the suds filled the catch tray and the suction stopped - had to use a wet vacuum. I have used it to clean my carpet at home and have removed some amazing stubborn stains, but unfortunately not all. I think it will still be professional.
