Great lights! for camera and photo

I bought two of these and when I change the color of one the second one automatically adjusts. I think it's kinda cool. but I'm not sure how to turn it off if I actually want to do two different colors. *** EDIT: I figured out how to fix the lights syncing. Holding the "Battery” button will switch channels, press the battery again to switch to other channels. Cons: You can't control the brightness of the RGB lighting and the power connector is on top. a little awkward if you have it on a stand. what you're likely to do. The supplied pouch does not fit the charger. The controls are a bit cumbersome. You cycle through each color from 0 to 99, resulting in the desired color. For example, if you want yellow, increase the red and green numbers and decrease the blue ones. White lights are also quite tricky, if you have both the 3200 and 5500 set to 99, lowering one of them will decrease the overall brightness, but eventually the color will shift to the other bulb. If you want real 5500 you need to lower 3200 to 0 and only adjust 5500. Pros: internal battery. First I bought the old version and found that it didn't come with a battery or charger. I don't have Sony gear so I wanted to spend another $40-$50 to power it. I saw them and thought for a few extra bucks I could get something and not have to deal with yet another type of battery/charger. The white light is VERY bright and enough to fill a standard sized room.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons

It's good for use with in a few feet. The color setting can get a little confusing
