I love things like that. They last a long time and the light is perfect! While the iPhone app is a bit of a gimmick in my opinion, it works great! Skip the Ice Light and buy 4 of these! Ouch! And I'm a real person, not a fake review!

Purchased upon request of an online master photo I took. Ideal for adding colors that help tell a story to your images. Overall, the lamp is very versatile and practical for on the go. Recommended for videographers and photographers.

Lasts 2 hours (on white light only on lowest settings). That wouldn't be a problem if you could plug them in, but they plug into the top of the lantern so you have a cord hanging from the lantern. Very bad design. Very disappointed with this lamp, I will not buy again.

I've had these bulbs for about 2 months now. Several light bulbs have already burned out in one of them, so now the colors do not match. For example, the purple setting on one of my devices now looks blue. I hope this gets sorted out, but things like this really piss me off. Buy a more expensive lamp if you want something that will work well and last a long time.

The problem wasn't that, it was that the battery would die if it wasn't charged every few days. I love how you can change colors from your smartphone or tablet. I took a chance and got a new version. I bought two of these and when I change the color of one the second one automatically adjusts. I think it's kinda cool. but I'm not sure how to turn it off if I actually want to do two different colors. *** EDIT: I figured out how to fix the lights syncing. Holding the "Battery” button will switch channels, press the battery again to switch to other channels. Cons: You can't control the brightness of the RGB lighting and the power connector is on top. a little awkward if you have it on a stand.
