I've had it for a few months so thought it would be a good time to use and review it. Set up was easy as usual. Plug it in and call the internet company Cox. in my case. A few minutes after we gave them some information about the device and waited for the lights to come on, the internet was back! Our last modem/router was also "ac" but wasn't as fast and couldn't handle as many devices. .We have a Smart TV, 2 iPhones, 2 iPads, a MacBook Pro and devices from visiting family and friends. Not many devices but the update definitely helped. The internet used to slow down when someone was watching Netflix. crawl for everyone else. No longer! A nice bonus was that our download speeds are faster than the nominal average we pay for. devices and even smart TVs. I'm still trying to figure out port forwarding and everything I might be able to accomplish outside of my home one day.
