I really like this monitor

I really like this monitor! The colors are bright, there are no dark areas. My husband uses a basic HP monitor. As soon as he saw mine he said he would like a ViewSonic if his monitor fails. I use it with an old MacBook Pro and had no trouble syncing them. I've read that some people have had trouble getting their Mac to recognize the monitor, but I think it only happens when the monitor is actually off. I believe the monitor needs to be turned on first and then the Mac. The best thing about this monitor is the stand. It increases the price but it's worth it!
