I bought a box of these in July 2014. It's November 2017 and the expiry date for the glowsticks is May 2019. Well today (November 25th 2017) I activated all 10 as a test. After an hour, they were only a quarter brighter than when they were first activated. Six hours later, all ten have to come together to read the text an inch away from them. Remember they are rated as 8 hour glowsticks; They are actually just 1 hour glowsticks. They've been kept in my house at 78 degrees Fahrenheit the whole time since I got them, so the heat hasn't done them any harm. They can provide light when needed, but not for long. They just aren't advertised that way. I wouldn't buy them again.
