Updated after 18 months. This jack has been used to lift a 1 ton van, several half ton trucks, a 5 ton panel van, a 20 meter steel dump truck and several passenger cars. I am very happy with my purchase so far and have never had any problems with it. This jack replaces a 3 ton solid steel jack from three years ago. Old Jack weighs 110 pounds and this one weighs less than 60. I usually read most reviews on this product before making a purchase. After reading the reviews on this Jack I wasn't sure what to expect. I have decided to go ahead and make a purchase and if I encounter any of the issues mentioned in other people's reviews I will simply return it. This jack arrived in perfect condition with no problems. The manufacturer applied lubricant to the inside of the neck where the handle attaches, to the areas of the rollers where the handle rolls over the pistons, and to the pivot points of the handle. This jack looks great, feels very light and should last for many years. I've also seen other reviewers mention they thought the wheels were plastic and a few others mention they thought they were steel. The wheels of the jack that I received are aluminum. The rubber pad at the top of the jack is thin but effective. I don't expect this pad to remain in brand new condition after lifting a few cars. I love the attention to detail the manufacturer has put into this jack. The handle is detachable without tools, you can separate the two parts of the handle by simply pressing the button, the handle has a protective rubber boot at the bottom so you don't damage your car. Everything about this jack is of excellent quality and I am happy with my purchase. I've seen a few other people mention problems with this jack pumping. I turned the knob to the left so the bushing doesn't create pressure as indicated on the card that came with the bushing. Inflate it about 10 times, then tighten the handle to the right. Jack immediately started pumping with no problem. I raised the jack to full height and then lowered it all the way back down. I took a large flathead screwdriver and opened up the filler hole on the hydraulic cylinder to let out the excess air. After tightening the cap I had no problems and didn't have to re-bleed this bushing.
