Review on OTC 17 1 Slide Hammer Extension by Tylin Meyer

Well I thought $42 for a 12 inch piece of metal was a bit much but I was desperate. This thing turned 2 hours of frustration into about 5 minutes of work pulling a rusty axle out of a Ford Escort. But when you pick it up, it's clearly durable and well made. I should have just bought it straight away instead of all the homemade rigs I've tried that have all failed. I used it with an axle puller extension, skipped the lock nut to get more clearance and hit it really hard but didn't damage it on the threads at all. I was impressed.
