I only used this lamp for one evening but here are some initial reactions. The image is as bright as using the original Epson lamp that was already installed in my projector. Also, most of the third-party lamps I've used have a burning smell to them from the start. This is unpleasant, but not critical, as the smell dissipates quickly. The good news is that this lamp does not emit such an odor at all. It also seems to cool faster than other lamps when I turn off the projector. So far I'm very happy.
