The case itself is what you would expect knowing the Otterbox range of protectors. It's basically the same as the old ones, with rubber on the outside, just without the screen protector. If you need a screen protector, you can look elsewhere. This is a durable case. But due to its strength, it's also thick, so keep that in mind. The snap-on outer case can also be used to support the phone, which I've always liked. However, I personally don't need any part of the clip. If you can think of a way to remove the clip (I hope they make this an option at some point - I don't have an easy way to do it yet) then you have a fairly slick outer case that protects the screen and you don't need one screen protector. The main thing I don't like is how flimsy the top piece of plastic that fits over the outside edge of the phone's screen is to hold it in the case. It's very thin and in the past when they've been used to protect the screen this wasn't a problem as the top transparent screen cover provided additional support. Well... I'm not sure. If you take it apart a lot it sure won't last that long without breaking/cracking. What I don't like is the color. The color is pretty ugly. I wish there were more options but there aren't any. These cases are very expensive and I'm sure they cost very little - seems expensive for what you get. I would probably buy a different color in the future and possibly get a different brand case, but I wanted one that I felt would protect my phone well. In terms of protection, this one definitely delivers.
