I have a conflict with this bike seat. There were cheaper alternatives (most likely shotgun knockoffs) but I still wanted to give the seat a no-nonsense rating. PROS - Superb build quality - Nice, thoughtful packaging - Mounted on my Metakoo Cybertrack 100 electric. The bike fits perfectly with its wider top tube. Carries my 42lb 5.5 year old son well and reliably. Bike frame - Rubberized all around to protect this shotgun from scratching the bike frame - Clear user manual - Funny stickers to attach to bike - "Quick Release" function for "quicker" product removal from the bike frame - The seat is not too wide , so that an adult can still easily pedal. The handlebar interferes with the main bike handlebar accessories. ar also-- Had to move my electric bike's control panel down to allow the child's handlebars to be free enough for a child to hold onto-- Can be fixed by adding 3rd party handlebar extensions that have a one to one Can be mounted to shotgun - All tools were included CONS - Very expensive compared to cheaper alternatives that look and work pretty much the same - The "Quick Release" feature isn't really a quick way to remove a product from a bike frame - You'll still have to remove the footrests before you can completely remove the whole thing, but still without tools. It will be easier for thieves to steal this weapon. The child seat is low and the child can fly over the bar in the event of a sudden stop. Be sure to remove the child seat when transporting it outside the vehicle as air turbulence can loosen bolts and screws and make it unsafe to sit. Overall this is a really good, well built and well thought out product. It comes at a high premium on the price, and that's my only complaint about it.
