I ordered a Boifun DVD player on 11/30/19 and have used it several times since then. In 2015 I bought a similar product from Sylvania. Boifun is definitely much better. I ordered a new player because the previous one (Sylvania) had already started to break down. The Sylvania machine controls didn't work properly, the remote control was very difficult to use, the turntable mechanisms were noisy, and the battery life was terrible. I was a bit hesitant to buy another player but I'm glad I did. Boyfun works much better. What I really appreciate is the remote control, which works by just pointing at the device and not just pointing at a point (like with the Sylvania), the player itself is smoother and quieter (although I need to tweak the speaker controls to make it that way making it quiet like I wanted), the battery life is incredible (especially compared to the Sylvania). Boifun claims a 6 hour battery life, but on first use I was able to run it on battery for 7 hours and 35 minutes. After 6 hours and 19 minutes a low battery indicator will appear in the top right corner of the screen to alert you, but the machine actually ran just over an hour after this low battery warning. Boifun's volume is much better than Sylvania's, who was always too quiet. The Boifun has enough volume that I never had to turn it up to full volume, even with the player across the room. Management is convenient, the picture is good. I am very satisfied with the Boifun DVD player and I hope that it will accompany me for many years to come. I was offered a gift to leave a review and would give a mediocre or poor review if I felt it was justified, but I can't fault the Boifun player. My good rating reflects what I really think of this product.
