Portable Rechargeable good car animator for kids: the whole truth about this product

What are portable DVD players mainly bought for? In order to keep the kids busy on the road, not to let them get bored or different. For the same purpose, I bought a portable DVD player before a long trip to the sea with three children. The main selection criteria were - a large diagonal, good resolution and a swivel screen. I note that there are players without speakers (there are few of them, but they are still on the market), so I chose with speakers. After a few days of scouring the internet, I settled on a portable DVD player with an XPX EA-1159 TV tuner. It has a large screen - 17 inches, normal resolution - 1440 x 900 and a swivel screen. This is what the player looks like when closed: In general, the player has a simple, unremarkable appearance. The front side is smooth, one might say glossy, but I did not notice any fingerprints. On the front of the case there is an indicator showing whether the device is turned on or not, as well as an infrared sensor for the remote control. On the side are all the connectors and ports we need: Namely: a minijack connector (for headphones), a memory card slot, a USB port, an HDMI connector, a port for connecting a game joystick, a connector for connecting an antenna and power. On the bottom is the battery, air vents and two speakers. There are also four legs at the bottom, thanks to which the gadget does not lie "belly" on the table and therefore nothing prevents the player from cooling. The player has a very convenient design - the screen can rotate 180 degrees. That is, from the usual open position, you can make a tablet. Opening, expanding and... close: We needed this function of full unfolding of the player to mount it in the car. This is how it looks in our Starex: Immediately, I note that the design that holds the gadget in this state in a car is handicraft :) The lid in the form of a tablet is held quite tightly, of course there is a small backlash, but it cannot decompose itself. The device we are considering has good speakers, no rattling was noticed. In the car, everything is perfectly audible, and we even watched our old cartoons and films. Of course, you need to remember that when the windows are open, extraneous sounds fly into the car and then the speakers are not enough. You can connect to the audio input of the car and then the sound goes through the regular speakers of the car. The player cannot claim high sound quality, but it is quite enough for video. The player's speakers are located on the monitor and on the bottom of the body: So, what can our player do: play video and music, show photos, work as a TV and radio. Reads information from any CDs, memory cards and flash drives. To install a disc, press the button in the form of a triangle, located at the bottom left of the drive cover. The disc is put on the holder in the center and slightly pressed down. The lid then closes until a slight click is heard. The disk is loaded automatically and then the menu appears. I did not like the menu. When listing files, their names are truncated to a completely unreadable form. Saves only the running line at the top of the screen with the name of the file on which the cursor is. Menu with a list of files and player settings menu in Russian. The DVD player is controlled by buttons on the body or by a "lazy" remote control. Moreover, all the buttons that are on the player are also on the remote control. The remote control comes with two little finger (AAA) batteries, if desired, you can put batteries. True, I did not like that the player obeys the remote control only in a straight line, resting against the infrared sensor. That is, the player will not hear the remote control directed at the sensor from the side, from below or from above. As I wrote above, the player has a normal resolution of 1440 x 900. At first, to me, spoiled by a laptop with the same diagonal, the image seemed rather lousy - grainy, fuzzy, but then I put up with it and now I watch cartoons and films with my children without grimacing. car. The screen has good viewing angles: when the player hangs in the middle of the car, the picture remains just as clear for those sitting at the edges. Do not pay attention to the bluish color of the image on the screen - this is what happens when shooting without a flash. In fact, the colors are varied and vibrant. It turned out to be very convenient to use the zoom. When the kids are sitting close to the screen, I zoom in 1/2 (half the screen) and the image becomes smaller and therefore much clearer. When they sit far away, the standard view is enough for comfortable viewing. The manufacturer writes that the XPX EA-1159 DVD player has a 2600 mAh battery. It seems to be a lot, but in fact it turned out that the battery lasts only 1-1.5 hours for the player. But this is not a problem, because a 12v car charger is in the box with the player. Also included in the kit: - AC power supply 220 V - adapter cable "minijack" - three "tulips" for connecting to playback equipment (DVD-player) or another TV - remote antenna (but you can also connect a regular TV antenna) - joystick As well as instructions and a CD for 300 games. The games on the disc are very simple, my children were not interested. No wonder, how can 8-32 bit games be interesting in the age of computer strategies, quests, action games, RPGs and simulators like Tanks online? The instruction is clearly translated into Russian using a computer, as well as the information on the box: It's even strange that Koreans could be so careless with the translation of texts. Yes, yes, it is Koreans and not Chinese. See for yourself: And in the end, I want to say that this little thing will help you and your kids not to be bored while traveling and traveling. I recommend.
