Bought a Nekteck magnetic car phone mount for my 2016 Mazda 3 (Axela). I couldn't install it where I originally planned because the surface isn't exactly flat, but I was able to install it slightly higher on a smooth surface below the center vents. Only the top and bottom of the sticky side are touching because there is a gap between the two surfaces. Regardless, this product is holding up like a champ on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9! Note. I left the magnetic strip on for a few hours for maximum adhesion before attempting to place my phone on it as it is quite large and heavy. The product is not too thick, it really looks like it is part of a car.
