Not as advertised best in my review

I sent it back after reading the directions. You can't actually charge this solar camping lantern using the sun. If you use it to charge anything else you will lose the light. Hand cranking appeared to be the only way to charge it without USB. I need something that will recharge using solar so that I can be on the trail for more than a day. The directions explained that the AC adapter that came with it was actually not recommended for this product but the proper charger is available for an additional charge. Buyer beware.

The lantern may not stay charged for very long, making it unreliable during emergencies
