Buy this if you buy a new device every six months
I bought this product and it has worked great for six months with no issues that a quick reset couldn't fix. Less than six months later, the modem hung and wouldn't work. I restarted the device and fixed the error but to no avail. After several hours of frustration, the wonderful folks at Netgear considered the modem a lost cause. I contacted Buy.com to return the defective unit and was told the warranty is only 45 days. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I should have known better with all the negative reviews
