Cool little IR hub in lighting and ceiling fans

This is a small IR hub that works with APP so you can link a long list of devices. This way you can then use the voice assistant to control any devices you connect to that hub. As another reviewer notes, the instructions aren't entirely clear, which can lead to confusion. The reset button is a hole at the top of the device. You use a paper clip to press on it, then the light starts flashing. Also use QR code to get TuyaSmart app. This is the one he uses. There are many different devices that you can control. They are organized by type and brand. It can be a little tricky to set up technically, but it should do what you need and the price is great. Notes: - The hole at the top of the device is the reset button. Use a paperclip. - Use the QR code to access the TuyaSmart app. - Select "Other - Universal Remote". - This works for IR (Infrared Remotes). - Universal Hub to Link things to your voice assistant (Google, Alexa) with USB cable but no plug. Installation can be somewhat technical. Good value for money. The in-app database contains many different brands and devices.

Pros
  • APP control: You can manually control all home appliances to any degree, no matter how far you go and when, everything is controlled with your fingers. Voice Control: This product can also connect with speakers such as Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT, and you can use it to control home electronic devices with your voice. If the connected device has its own voice function, you can remotely control home electronic devices by voice without distance limitation after connecting with this product.
Cons
