Review on 🔧 Mobil 1 Advanced 15W-50 Full Synthetic Motor Oil - 5 Quart for Optimal Engine Performance by Stephen Lunn

This is the only oil I use in my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. The instructions say 5w-30 so I buy it. I live in North Dakota so it gets used in my pickup truck during very harsh winters. I change it every 5000 miles now as I drive a lot and it doesn't look terrible when I drain it. I used to make 3000 when I was only making 3k a year. In my opinion, every 5,000 or at least once a year is enough. Don't waste your money on bullshit with annual protection. I'm running this at 100k and now I'm at 140k. The "chemistry" is not as noticeable with this oil as with others I've heard. I just changed it after towing my boat all summer and then took a friend on a 2200 mile trip to NP Glacier and it looked pretty good, not black but brown used oil. I also only use Mobil 1 oil in my bike, but V-Twin formula. I also only use Wix filters for both. I can only endorse the Wix because I've cut a few of mine and love the construction, much heavier and with metal end caps. Ac delco are similar, the frame has cardboard end caps. Mobil 1 and wix filter is for me. It's about the same price as the local store but I don't have to go to the store. Winter this year was cold. No block heater and it's parked in the driveway at -25F and still hasn't exploded this morning! Today I took a picture of my desk to show how much of it I use. I've just used it on my sisters 2005 Buick Lacrosse 3.8L, 7L for my pickup and a few more for my snowblower. This is a really great oil.
