When I got the little box - I mean a bit about 3 x 5 card size and about 1/2 inch thick - I was really wondering how they fit 6 sponges in it. When I started getting wet it was fun to see it turn into a big sponge very quickly. I have used this sponge for washing dishes and another for cleaning stovetops, countertops, etc. I have one for cleaning and one for food soiled items like dishes, pans etc because I use different cleaners for each of them. Lips hold up well. I miss the cleaning side of my commercial sponges, but they do the job just as well as regular sponges.
