The NeatFi Super LED Magnifier with 5D lens was easy to assemble. Attach the clamp to the table, insert the arm spigot into the clamp socket, plug in, turn on. The power switch is on the bottom of the lamp, which is a bit awkward until you know where it is and can't find it in the dark. Multiple brightness levels are suitable for use with magnifying lenses and most desk lighting needs. It would be nice if there was a little more light than the brightest setting available to fully illuminate a table in a dark room. No doubt this will be available in a future version with upgraded LEDs that give out twice the light at half the power. (Update: I've used it in a dark room and it's bright enough. Upgraded to 5 stars as I have no other complaints. The light does the job: it's a fully functional magnifying lamp that's excellent value for money offers.) The build quality is reasonable. The hinges of the arms are adjustable and will support the lamp's weight without sagging while still maintaining a fairly smooth movement. The hinge/hinge for the lamp head allows you to position the head where you want it, but the movement felt a bit rough when I adjusted the set screw to keep it from slipping. So it's not a $500 lamp with moving joints, but it costs a lot less than $500. When properly adjusted, it moves with little effort and then stays in place. This lamp is a good choice when you need a multifunctional desk lamp/magnifying glass. It does exactly what I wanted, which is to light up my desk and act like a glowing magnifying glass for my aging eyes.
