In my dog's 12 years, I've gone through probably 3-4 Wahl clippers. My dog has a thick undercoat and her fur gets pretty long (she's a mutt). The clippers would get very dull after 2-4 uses (I was cleaning and oiling the blades after each use, not sure if there was something I wasn't doing right) , so I decided to look for something else. I purchased this one with low expectations but it did amazing! Charged fast, wirelesss, worked like a charm and was easy to clean. I'm very happy! We'll see how it does after a few uses but for now I'm very satisfied. The wireless feature is my favorite.p.s: It's not really a quiet machine but a little less noisy than the traditional ones.
