up to HDMI standards

This cable costs more than many of the options you see on Amazon, but if you're going 4k it's important that the cable actually does the advertised speed transmits. I used it to replace the HDMI cable on my 4k AppleTV living room TV with my 65" LG. The old cable dropped a signal intermittently, but there were no problems with the Monster cable.

I replaced another new brand of "quality certified" 18Gbps HDMI cable with this and no more issues.
