They fall apart ver easily

Other then the fact that the pages fell out 2 days and 2 projects in and the fact that it’s an acrylic pad . but they did not hold acrylics very well at all. They are great for oil pastels . somewhat. Not sure how it would hold up with oil paints.Very disappointing for Arteza.whom I happen to love and use often but I will not buy this product again.

Pros
  • Great quality for acrylic paints. Holds nicely when taped.
Cons
  • May not be appropriate for children due to the thickness and nature of the paper

Very high quality paper for acrylics use

My wife paints with acrylics. She has been taking lessons via the local community college for 2-3 years. We found this paper on revain early on - this is the third or fourth batch we have bought. The "tooth" of the paper is good to stop the paint "sliding" rather than "sticking" and there is minimum curl of the paper even with a full paint load. At least half of the students in her class after seeing the quality of this product have switched to it. It is good value for the money.

Pros
  • Me and my 5 year old love these and are the best for our art projects
Cons
  • Can only be used with acrylic and oil paints, limiting its versatility

I am a newbie painter and a late starter, 70 years old, the product was purchased as it seemed to be difficult to find acrylic painting paper that does not curl up. This one has worked perfectly with one important suggestion, gesso both sides of the paper!. The fine linen texture give the work a great professional look. The size fits perfectly in many inexpensive frames available at Walmart. I recommend this product to all acrylic paint artist.

Pros
  • My husband is liking his new paper
Cons
  • Black paper may affect the true colors of the artwork

great paper good for me

I use these for acrylic painting and for acrylic pouring. make sure it dries on a non stick surface. Did not warp or buckle

Pros
  • I use it for acrylic painting. It does not roll up or disk color. I find it if very good quality
Cons
  • Limited number of pages (2 pack) may not last long for frequent artists

Gorgeous black water color Stack

Great black watercolor paper. I use them with metallic colors they look gorgeous! I ordered them twice and will continue to order them.

Pros
  • My dad loved this as a gift!
Cons
  • I love the texture it they curl up so can’t use them for anything but practice

It buckles for my opinion

Its buckles a lot. But i will say paint markers are perfect for it . just use regular art paper. Its cheaper for near the same results

Pros
  • I like it.
Cons
  • Can be more difficult to find black gesso or paint to prime the paper

Should have read the details

My fault. I did not read the details, but these are much, much smaller than they look in the picture. Pictures are deceiving. Take the time to read the details.

Pros
  • This is a super sturdy pad and the paper texture is pretty cool too.
Cons
  • Can be more expensive than traditional white paper pads

Brilliant colors: my feedback

I just bought my Arteza acrylic paint set and canvas paper. I am pretty satisfied with it and will make more purchase soon.

Pros
  • This product is perfect for my needs.
Cons
  • Thick paper (246-lb) may be difficult to fold or manipulate for certain techniques

It doesn't take any paint.

Sounded great. It seemed that there was no absorbency in the paper The paper buckled . I didn't even finish the painting . It was so hard to paint. I guess I will use it for pencil or charcoal.

Pros
  • This paper adds a nice linen-like texture to your artwork as well.
Cons
  • Small size (6x6 inches) may not be suitable for larger art projects

Paper feels cheap in my review

It’s ok. There are better ones out there. Not crazy about these pads. They bubble up when u add water to them. I know they are not watercolor paper, but still.

Pros
  • very good paper for watercolor paper
Cons
  • Can smudge easily due to the nature of acrylic and oil paints

Don’t waste your money!

I don’t understand why other reviewers liked this paper. It is awful. It buckles and absorbs paint. Does a terrible job of blending with acrylics. The pilling was so bad I had to throw my work away. I would return the pads if I could.

Pros
  • Used for painting
Cons
  • May be more difficult to clean brushes between color changes

Warps with acrylic paint.

As far as paper goes, it's great. I used it with acrylic paint and it warped, I had hoped it would stay flat Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Great quality. And great for practicing
Cons
  • Can only be used for certain types of paper-based art projects

Great quality and price for starving artists!

This is the third product I’ve ordered from Arteza and they have yet to disappoint. These sheets are a nice, clean white and quite heavyweight, with just the right amount of tooth to hold the paint. The binding is attractive and appears durable. I’ll be ordering more of these, and more Arteza products.

Pros
  • Nice quality
Cons
  • May be more difficult to judge the true brightness or saturation of colors

Fabulous paper, super value

The thickest and smoothest mixed media I have ever purchased. It is a true deep black and sturdy enough to stand alone as art book cover or pages.

Pros
  • Beautiful paper, very fast shipping!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for certain types of brush strokes or techniques

Beautiful, thick textured paper

I've never tried acrylic paint paper before, but I have to say, I'm super excited. I love how the paper is textured the way a canvas is, I cant wait to try them out. From what I've seen so far, I'll definitely be ordering more

Pros
  • Great product! Exactly what I wanted and expected based on the description.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for art projects that require high levels of detail

Very good product! good for me

Good Acrylic pads. Their price on amazon was very economical. Colors stay good. Love the slight texture on the sheets. Can only be used for certain styles of artwork, such as impressionism or abstract.

Pros
  • Happy with my purchase. true to description. would buy again.
Cons
  • Can only be used for certain styles of artwork, such as impressionism or abstract

Great for Acrylics on my review.

Good for acrylic painting (I’ve done some oils on it too and works well). Most of the bad reviews are people complaining about watercolor and inks not working, well people it says in the title for acrylic painting, search for watercolor paper if that’s what you need.

Pros
  • Love these. My husband and I pictures and then found $3 frames at Walmart for my son’s nursery.
Cons
  • Not suitable for beginners who may make mistakes and need to erase their work

Cons
  • Can be more difficult to store and transport due to its size and weight

Arteza Does It Again!

I have been using various Arteza products for nearly 6 months now. So when I start getting into oil and acrylic painting, I immediately looked to see if they offered acrylic paper because it would be easier for me to store than buying more canvases. This paper is very thick and sturdy. It has just enough tooth to grip the paint but not too much that there will be a noticeable texture when you're finished. You can apply a coat of gesso if you wish but I suggest taping it down if you are applying

Pros
  • I used this paper as a gesso surface. Worked great
Cons
  • May affect the longevity of brushes due to the thickness of the paper
