I bought this product once and it sounded like a maracas with loose parts inside rattling around. ordered a second one because I got the postage wrong wrong (was in a no bubble wrap box and was thrown through my gate). The second arrived in perfect shipping condition but still had tons of loose parts. It was impossible to use certain ports without shaking the box to move misaligned parts, which isn't easy with its poor-quality "mount" system (any hit will knock it off its mounts). I was able to use it for a week but went back to my old strip because I doubt this thing will protect against surges when they can't even put it together properly.
