Last fall I bought a laptop that didn't have a backlit key, a feature I was willing to compromise on because I didn't want to sacrifice another important feature and a great price. . I often use my laptop in low light conditions. This light works great for me. There are three levels of brightness, it is flexible and can be easily folded and stored in a computer bag or purse. I would do it again with no problem.
