I was a little apprehensive about ordering this product but I'm so glad I did! I've only used traditional curtain rods before, but when I saw these magnetic rods I was intrigued. My biggest concern was that the magnets might not be snug against the door, but the magnets seem very strong. I will say that the installation was a little tricky because if you connect the top rod first and then pull the bottom one to pull the curtains you run the risk of pulling the whole thing over your head. Hypothetically of course. ;) Apart from a slight learning curve during installation, I can't really complain. The silver tinning on the bars is just a painted coating. They scratch easily but that doesn't bother me that much since they are covered with curtains anyway. The price is quite high in my opinion, but I appreciate that one day I'll be able to remove the bars without damaging the door frame.
