First off, other products offered by this brand are vastly superior to this blade and it's unfair to compare any of their products to this one because it's not as strong changes the rules of the game. Yes, it's an old-fashioned razor blade, so yeah, not everyone knows how to use it; and it doesn't clean you like, say, a 4-blade titanium razor from almost every other brand you can buy at any store. Tbh some people will shave better with these 1.99 double blade razors because it's not for everyone and you really don't get as clean as you expect. Think of this product as a way to be on your feet all the time. Trim your stubble without even saying goodbye to it. You need to make sure that when you prepare the blade you are prepared for a warm shave and that the blade is set properly, not just a jam, shaving facial hair is an art or for some of us we just want to get out there and go fast , without saying goodbye to everyone with our face scratcher, or even just to make sure you have 5 hours to wake up the next day. may take some time with this blade. Overall I use it and I find it amazing that it has the power to weight ratio and it's sturdy. I bet I could protect myself with just a grab if needed because it's kind of a man I'm a MAN OF ACTION but like I said some people maybe after use the whole concept is just like MEH or some guys kind of cut off their whole fingers (btw I don't understand, I don't really understand)
