LOVE LOVE LOVE this toy. It's a great, effortless take on a classic - still plastic, still donuts, and reasonably priced. I did some pre-purchase as I was hoping to get wood. What drew me to them was the price and the design. It is not overly shaped and unlike many of the new pillarless models has holes in each ring large enough for a small hand to fit through and can be grasped or worn as a 'bracelet'. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of textures - two are smooth, two are grainy and one feels like silicone and can be flattened. The only downside to this toy I've found so far is that the rattle can "stick" to the top cover but comes off fairly easily. This is not a rattle and the sound of the rattle is not objectionable so I am not deducting a star. Overall very happy with this gift and as you can see the recipient is happy too!
