Sturdy and very well made. Maximum spoke for grip. I work outdoors at New England Winters and have had a number of falls this year. It seems to be the cure. However, the spikes are quite large and can tear decking or other floor coverings. Be careful what you walk on. Update: Worn twice before putting them on and they are very easy to put on because I slipped on inch thick ice once and everywhere. I put them on, I was able to run back and forth to the truck and stop on a dime, absolutely no slip, the spikes are very strong, very promising and I'm impressed, it's exactly what I was looking for.
