Broke his arm in 2019 while shoveling snow on a Thanksgiving driveway in Minnesota. My first thought was to move to Arizona so I bought these spikes for my shoes. Excellent on snow and ice, I recommend! Simply remove from shoes/boots and put back on.

Very similar to some of the more expensive brands I've had in the past that cost over $40. The connections are strong and seem to hold together well. The spikes are well separated and hold the shoes well. Time will tell when they see more use, but they worked well today when we had freezing rain in our driveway. I had to use it on the first day of delivery.

Just got back from a hike up Wachusett Mountain (4 miles a day, not too crazy but enough to get the impression) with my new dog and new micro spikes, very happy with both. They had a very secure fit, once they were put on they didn't have to be readjusted. They grip incredibly well on snow, ice, snow pack, trail, tree and rock. I liked that I could step on ice with confidence. I will use for hiking and blowing snow in the driveway. They're inexpensive and worth pennies if you need to go to the emergency room because of a slip and fall. I bought XXL, in the attached photo I have US size 12.5 insulated boots. First: I received no compensation for your purchase. I bought a size large and they fit both a size 9.5 hiking boot and a size 9.5 Merril hiking boot. Haven't tried them on my sorels yet and know they get tight. Bought for winter hiking, just last weekend did two hikes 4 miles northeast in freezing, snowy, rocky, steep and at one point greasy mud.
