That works great! Really simple user interface. I digitized all my 30 year old VHS-C tapes! wow !

Helped me a lot! I digitized all my old VHS-C tapes using Roxio Video Capture. I was able to transfer the video to the PhotoSpring digital photo frame. Videos from 30 years ago came out great. The software has a resize option so you can split the video into smaller files. It was perfect for my purpose of restoring old VHS tapes before they rot. I was excited to see these old videos of family, friends, and vacations. Now they can be seen on a digital picture frame at any time. I was also able to see them on my Apple TV (PhotoSpring image resolution looks better than on TV). At first I wanted to go back to Roxio because it crashed. (They accept returns.) But I persevered and discovered my VHS player was broken. I bought a used JVC HRS5912U VHS player for $65, $12 male-to-male S-Video cable to plug in, and a $10 VHS cleaning kit to periodically clean the heads by going through those old tapes. I already had a VHS_C cassette adapter (had to replace and clean rusted batteries, otherwise a new one costs $20). You'll also need a male-to-male RCA stereo cable - I've had plenty of those already. All of this worked fine. The VHS player does not need to be connected to the TV, I just plugged it into my computer and the player sits under my MacBook - when you press the play button on the VHS player, the display cycles through the Roxio Video Capture software. The Roxio's USB connector has become a little loose, so try not to squeeze it. I checked the difference in recording quality between a composite and S-Video connection: by all means, use S-Video if you can, although composite is fine. It was worth it - both money and effort. The results are priceless! Can you imagine being able to recover a video from that long ago? Thank you Roxio! the display runs through the Roxio Video Capture software.
