The J-Max is a great looking grinder with superb build quality. It feels very sturdy and the small touches like the magnet dosing cup and the external adjustment dial make it a step up from the other JX grinders.It's not all roses though. While this is pretty subjective I feel it underperformed in the cup. The shots I pulled felt like they lacked body no matter how I dialed it in or the bean I used.While it is a joy to use I decided it wasn't worth keeping since it was getting outperform by even my brew grinder (mignon crono).
