Review on POWERTEC 15505 White Aluminum Oxide Grinding Wheel - Premium Quality, 💪 8-Inch by 1-Inch, 5/8-Inch Arbor, 120 Grit - Superior Performance and Durability by Martin Masaniai

Bought because I've had good luck with other alloy wheels in the past even though they were gray instead of white. I liked the fact that the mandrel was the right size for my bench grinder without the need for plastic adapter sleeves. I didn't expect the wheel to be perfectly balanced and not wobble. The bike I received was acceptable to me in that regard. I was very surprised to find excessive wheel wear after just 10 minutes of rebar grinding. The floor under the coffee grinder was covered in material worn from the wheel after very limited use. This is shown in a photo of a small area that has been stripped of this material to show how much of it has accumulated. It is possible that this wear is intentional on this product, as the product description states that "the abrasive grains are worn away, leaving a constantly fresh abrasive surface". Still, I find the wear rate excessive and wouldn't buy these again. Perhaps the biggest concern is that a person can inhale it (if not wearing a mask/respirator) and cause lung damage.
