Definitely serves its purpose. Fits pretty tight. Super thin and looks good. The only problem I had was that it took some effort when I first installed it, but eventually got loose. Also note that the coffee will get stuck between the funnel and the portafilter basket due to the small gap left after the funnel is installed (probably 1/32nd or less). This will spill the coffee when the funnel is removed. Too bad I didn't take a picture of the gap, but it's noticeable just by installing the basket (which fits perfectly into the funnel's curved grooves). I fixed the problem by filing about 1/32nd of the areas that were in contact with the portafilter and now the funnel fits in the portafilter basket. I would recommend this funnel to anyone who doesn't mind spending extra time filling in areas for a perfect fit. However, given that other funnels sell for less, I would expect a better setup out of the box.
