I sanded, lightly tamped, then sanded again. The "hopper" I found earlier doesn't work for Breville (had to hold it from below to catch the ground while chopping). start grinding. Breville should include this with the machine. Fits perfectly with an out of the box portafilter, no rattling or fumbling required. Mill runs normally. Saves territory. The hole is wide enough to press into place. Cleaning only takes about 5 seconds. The only theoretical concern is that the metal is light and there are some points that COULD bend or fatigue with future use. However, I've used it 100 times and it's like new. Should pay off easily before that happens.

Definitely serves its purpose. Fits pretty tight. Super thin and looks good. The only problem I had was that it took some effort when I first installed it, but eventually got loose. Also note that the coffee will get stuck between the funnel and the portafilter basket due to the small gap left after the funnel is installed (probably 1/32nd or less).
