I bought this in July and my daughter didn't use it until school started in mid August. This is a very cute lunch box with plenty of room for everything. She liked using it. Mold-like spots appeared on it in mid-September. I usually give them a quick wash every day but I figured maybe they were just dirty so I rubbed them with soapy water and they didn't come off. They get worse and look moldier. Also, they are not leakproof. Her water bottle had leaked beforehand and spilled all over her backpack, which then spilled onto my front seat. twice.
