I needed it for my 8 hours of daily long-distance job calls and for playing video games. Satisfied. After trying a number of other Steel Series and RIG cases, I was pleasantly pleased by Razer. The benefits: Voice and music amplification is good to go. There's a nuance here; please refer to the drawbacks. In contrast to how most headphones feel on my head, they fit flawlessly. The ears and head stay fresh throughout the entire workday. When your presence is sufficient, you can put away the microphone. Top-mounted volume knob, mic-mute switch, and compatibility with Mac through USB or standard minijack. This is very helpful when using a PlayStation controller. The negatives: I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, but it seems like there's a lot of extraneous options when it comes to audio devices, what with "Razer THX Spatial Audio" and "Razer USB Sound Card" plus a bunch of settings in Razer Synapse. THX (various noise cancelers, equalizers, etc.) for voice and gaming. Tune in through a USB sound card (no software required)
