Review on Beltronics 015007-6 STi Magnum Radar Detector: Ultimate Protection for Drivers by Randy Montiel

I really wanted this Magnum STI to replace my old Beltronics RX65 (M4) radar detector. Overall range was definitely better, but in the K range (24.1) it faked more than my RX65. It's possible that my 2016 Audi S3 Blind Spot Monitors were throwing false alarms, but I think it will happen to my RX65 as well (and it doesn't). Even after testing auto mode/enabling TSR/area segmentation I couldn't get it set the way I wanted. It might have been a one off situation, but the volume knob didn't want to get stuck between power cycles. I give it 4 stars because I know it's a great detector, but in my situation it just didn't live up to expectations.
