Phosphate filter (additive)

I use them on the chilled water side of Noritz water heaters to reduce mineralization in the heat exchanger. I usually change them once a year and there is always phosphate in the cartridge.

Pros

CONTAINS HEXAMETHAPHOSPATE CRYSTALS which slowly dissolve in water to prevent scale and rusting
