This fleece lined jacket is warm enough but when temperatures drop below 20 you can opt for another layer. A light breeze can also be felt. Still, it's perfect for cold fall/spring days. I'm 5ft 10" (165lbs) and ordered the medium which fits perfectly. It's a custom fit that borders on "skinny fit" and I could probably wear a bulkier base layer underneath, but it only works well with a t-shirt underneath. The jacket looks great, just like the picture. I am very happy with it.
