Review on 🚲 Black Aluminum Utility Cargo Bike Trailer - Burley Flatbed by Bill Forbis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Our new camping partner!

My husband and I got this little camping jump cart when we wanted to increase our comfort level from the minimalist approach we've traditionally taken. and it was the PERFECT companion, especially when paired with a custom (budget) cargo net. He rode very well behind the bike and we had him loaded with probably over 80lbs of gear from his 100lb max. We were amazed at how light and durable it is! There are other reviews here that complain that "the thin vinyl floor rests directly on the axle and body and causes wear from the payload". - Spring. I won't deny that once you put even a small amount of weight on the cart, the vinyl floor will sit right over the axle, causing a "belly" effect; However, we solved this problem by putting a piece of waterproof plastic cardboard over the axle to protect it - just clip it in place and abra ca dabra - we also used another piece of plastic cardboard that rested on the wagon floor is tailored. over our vinyl floor to stiffen and protect it and it completely solved the fish belly problem. The next solution would be to install a tailgate, as our collected firewood kept "falling" off the cart. This car is a dream and we plan to take it with us on other bike tours. Love her!
