This chopping board has a number of very useful features that save me time and effort when preparing food. The bamboo surface is durable and easy to keep clean during cooking and between uses. It's not too big or heavy, so it's easy to store in a closet and move to where you're most comfortable working. The four plastic containers allow for quick switching from one product to another and can be sealed with a bamboo lid and placed back in a storage compartment or fridge until needed. The lids are not airtight but will prevent anything from falling into the container and plastic wrap with a bamboo lid on top can be used to seal the container. Four different plates for quick grating or cutting, they are easy to change and very sharp, so be careful when using or cleaning to avoid cutting yourself. In addition, there are small plastic adhesive feet that can be attached to hold the cutting board above the countertop and prevent it from sliding. I personally find them unnecessary, and a small towel can be used if you want to protect your counter or worktop from water/juice, scratches, or prevent your cutting board from moving. Cleaning and proper care of bamboo is very important, so follow the instructions that come with this cutting board. Remember to clean it immediately after each use and dry it before storage. Make sure no food or juice is left on the cutting board or storage compartments. COMPLETELY DRY AFTER CLEANING!
