I bought this camera to replace my ELPH 450SD which is around 7 years old. I have a Canon EOS60D, but I like having something small that I can put in my purse and take with me everywhere. I was very disappointed with the image quality and shutter lag. If something isn't fully there, don't expect to get the picture you're looking at. I know the specs say it's a short time, but trust me, it either feels longer or it is longer. Most of my shots were taken indoors and the camera just didn't do well in low light and the shutter lag could be increased because I was indoors. The photos were a bit blurry - just blurry. On the plus side, the price was okay, but after playing with it for almost a month I decided to send it back. I replaced it with an ELPH 310HS, which is closer in quality to my ELPH 450 (although this camera still shot better). Take photos outside of flowers on a sunny day.
