These coasters look great, look very high quality and are big enough to fit on almost any mug. They absolutely retain water/moisture when you put on cold/sweaty goggles. However, I had no problems with the water running over the edge of the stand onto the table, everything stays on the stand. You have to wipe the base, which is a bit of a hassle, but you have to understand that the stone does not absorb moisture. If you need absorbent pads, there are many options. If you want good looking coasters at a great price, there are a few inconveniences.
