I increase the size of recipes quite often and end up with "intermediate" ingredients. As I bake a lot I have to be pretty precise and with other dishes too the amount of certain ingredients, especially spices and condiments, can mean the difference between right or too much! Love the fact that cups and spoons give me a choice beyond the usual 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 and 1! I'm also a fan of stainless steel instead of plastic and the inclusion of a measuring device that I'll use to level the cake batter in any shape. Yes, pans can be weighed, but to be honest measuring is a lot quicker and less messy! I also really like the magnet with measuring equivalents. I'm finding this a little difficult to read and I'm not sure how long that will take for that matter. Gradually, as they become less accurate and lose their shape, I will ditch my old plastic measuring cups and spoons and rely solely on this most complete dry ingredient measuring kit. I want to add another plus if you are looking for another one! I am very happy about the right amount on every cup and every spoon. I really hate guessing between 1/4 and 1/3 cups as if I'm going to grab one quickly. Don't be put off by the price. They last forever and are way better than cheap supermarket plastic.
