Review on AstroAI Windshield Extendable Telescoping Household by Colton Scheehl

This ice scraper/egg beater looked really good when I took it out of the box (and in the photos), but we had a few issues the first few times we used it. The first problem that arose after about 10 minutes of use in the extended position was that the end of the ice scraper had become detached from the rest of the brush. It wasn't difficult to put back in place, but the small piece of plastic holding the pieces of my scraper together doesn't hold them securely, and so the end pops out intermittently when I hold the end of the snow scraper. from the top of my car. (I had no problems with the other end "popping out".) The second problem came when we used the brush a second time. There are two plastic pieces at the end of the brush that cover the sharp metal edges on the scraper/brush head side. But those plastic guards aren't firmly in place, and one of our sides has come loose, revealing sharp metal edges that could scratch the car. The man glued it on, but we'll see if it holds or not. The third downside that I should have noted (or measured before buying) is that this brush doesn't reach as far as my old brush, making it difficult to get to the top center of my SUV's roof. I like one aspect of it. This is a very strong brush - wider and thicker than the brush on my old similar scraper/brush. However, this old brush has lasted at least 8 years of heavy use without issue (except my husband got it for his truck because he couldn't find his). I would definitely not buy this item again. I would go to a dealership where I could see what I was buying. As I said, this one looks very nice, especially in the photos, but there's no quality detail, especially for a $30 scraper.
