For a product in this price bracket, the resolution of the lens is somewhere in the range of 100 to 120 lines per millimeter of the photomatrix, which is an excellent result. From a personal standpoint, the lens is not overly heavy (in terms of weight). This is a very good deal considering that it has a stabilizer that actually works, a wide variety of focal lengths, and many additional perks (some of which have been listed above). Some pros: 1) Chromatic aberration is really minimal. 2) Excellent image resolution in the center as well as at the edges, with the resolution gradually reducing as the focal length increases. despite its advantages. 1) Vignetting is apparent at all focal lengths when working with a big aperture. 2) A building made entirely of plastic. 3) If you attach a polarizing filter to the lens, the filter will rotate while the lens is autofocusing. 4) Every lens has specific advantages and drawbacks that are unique to themselves (very unstable build quality).
