OEM part, easy installation and big improvement

BLUF: OEM part, no installation or product issues in the last 3 months I've had every tell-tale sign of a vacuum pump failure for my 2016 GMC. Sierra (90,000 miles) so I decided to replace it BEFORE it blew up and caused a whole bunch of other problems. After ordering I got more tired that it could be fake or aftermarket but I was pleasantly surprised when I received it and it was 100% OEM. A NOTICE. This is the end of the product review. From here information on installation and tips. Can't say much more about the product other than it's OEM and works like a charm. Took about 2 hours and 3 beers to install and everything went pretty smoothly, all said and done. There are some helpful YouTube videos, but I found a step-by-step guide on one of the forums, which turned out to be the most helpful (I'll edit the link if/when I find it). I would recommend removing the middle and lower steering shaft, it will make your life a lot easier. I would have done this an hour earlier if I wasn't stubborn and didn't want to fiddle with the steering shaft, but it's very simple and easy to do (just make sure you use a marker to make the marks so you can get everything back together right.). Since you will be removing the tensioner belt on the pump, be sure to get a new one to replace it (along with the removal tool) and also get a new vacuum line and see if it fits you. stainless steel or not. Aside from the belts, I would recommend replacing the crescent and A/C belts as well, as this gives you easier access to the vacuum pump and also allows you to replace the other belts as a sideline.
