I was very disappointed with the number of times my 20 gauge wire broke. After a year it seemed like I was getting a few days until my next break. In the end I couldn't take it anymore and ordered this 14 gauge. It's harder to splice but easier to route. The only issue I had was that when I rotated it to fit between the driveway expansion joint, it was too thick to fit. So I paired it with a matching 20 gauge. It works like a champ and I haven't had a break in over 4 weeks. I definitely recommend this 20 gauge wire that comes with DIY kits. Get rid of 20 gauge and go straight to this product.
