We love these leashes! We have 2 and plan to stow 2 more with our camping gear. Our heavy basenji chewing mix for 7 months could not damage it after several weeks of continuous use.2. I like the pen very much! I don't like leashes with "comfortable foam handles". They are stiff, bulky, and limit the finer communication between my dogs and I when we go for walks. When hands sweat it's disgusting to hold them. I never understood their popularity. The handle on this leash is comfortable, very easy to hold and can be shaped/held by the person as desired. Wet or dry, the dog is easy to control.3. Where we live and walk there are no sidewalks, no streetlights except rare courtyard lamps. These highly reflective lines provide an extra level of safety. I highly recommend this leash! Update: We just bought 2 more leashes! At almost a year old, our puppy is still trying to chew on the leash. The original whites are a little worn but strong. They are stored together with tourist equipment. The new blue lines are great!
